I know I haven’t been on tumblr in a while (Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone still following me!) but I had to come back today for a very special reason.
@cherrystreet—My other zodiac half, my one true love, my white mom, everything else I’ve ended up calling you at one point or another—happy happy birthday! I am so thankful that we started speaking to each other last year (January 30 2017, to be exact hehe) and that you haven’t gotten tired of me and still speak to me on a near-daily basis. You have become one of my closest friends here on Tumblr, and have become one of my dearest friends outside of it.
Thank you for tolerating me no matter what mood i’m in, for filling me in with what’s going on with you, for sharing me little tidbits of your life. Thank you also for your love advice (although I maintain you give REALLY BAD LOVE ADVICE), for making fun of me when I tried to french half of Mexico hahaha, for giving me proper advice when I asked for some, and for still being there for me even though I refused to listen, and comforting me when everything fell apart after. Thank you for calling me out on my bullshit, for understanding, and just generally being you. It’s so incredibly apt that you were born on the 2nd day of the year, because you’re definitely a new year blessing, and everyone who has you in their life is blessed, or should I say #shlessed. If I could, i’d give you champagnes and limousines every year, just to show you how much you mean to me.
