Remember when we “met” when we were 19, and now you’re 22 and that’s like…..3 years of proper friendship? (Without counting our 13-year, same-catholic-school-but-we-didn’t-know-it history) 3 years…that’s wow. 3 years of stanning a boyband, 3 years of screaming at each other about on iMessage anything and everything that comes into our heads!!! I genuinely can no longer imagine life without being able to bother you on a near-daily basis, nor can I imagine life without you randomly texting me about how much you spent in Zara and panicking because “HOW TF AM I GONNA SUSTAIN THIS LIFESTYLE??? You are my elmost—“elmost” always there for me, “elmost” always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand, but always, always a constant in my life. I love how our conversations aren’t just about fandom things anymore; they extend to real life so even if you’re into BTS now and i’m not I don’t feel alienated from you.
I think, the 13 years we spent in each other’s periphery was just the universe preparing us for each other, priming us because it knew that once we became proper friends, we would be explosive—we’d be golden, just laughing at each other and updating each other about our lives, but always, always there for each other no matter what.
