it’s february 2nd, 1993. bill murray lives the same day on repeat and it gets inducted into the national film registry for “cultural significance.”
it’s february 2nd, 2017. right before I get out of your car in the tea leaf parking lot I say
“it’s groundhog day.”
“really?”
“yeah”

we spend them in cotton pajama pants scrolling through netflix hunting for white noise holding each other as if our loop of childlike euphoria was limited it was.
love breaks the loop. I can see this now.
