Hey, I'm the original duzen anon! I think duzen simply = "to use du". Sorry if I made you confused :D In my native language we too differentiate different yous and idk how it is in German compared to us, so I asked. (Dear German anons, come back and tell us please, is it totally okay to use du when speaking with strangers on the internet?) Anyways! Do you study French too? Which is more weird for you? :)

hahahaha i think it should be fine!!! i mean, i don’t mind cause in english & in my other language we dont differentiate the ‘yous’ so whatever is cool!!

i did study french! i actually studied so many languages–chinese, french, spanish, and german and i was pretty good at them all but i just never got a chance to use them/accurately develop them :( i think german is weirder, because so far spanish has been the easiest for me to pick up and french is similar to spanish since they’re both latin languages but like…..french has the crazy pronunciation and silent letters

but out of all the languages i learned???? chinese definitely i had to learn a different ALPHABET for it and the alphabet doesn’t even HELP w the words and they have like four different tones in pronouncing words and wo bu zhi dao (that means ‘i don’t know’ in chinese)

how about you?? what languages can you speak?
