(Because of that gif set) I think him mouthing the “th” sound is because of the end of the word “with”. If it was “them”, there would have to be two “th” mouth movements since wiTH THem.. 🤷‍♀️

ya i thought of that too but as a person who sings (or well, used to), you wouldn’t do two ‘th’ movements while singing (you also don’t do it while speaking, if you notice, unless you’re enunciating VERY CLEARLY and speaking very slowly) because it takes too much effort to do/it’s a hassle. what we’re taught when singing, however, is to elongate the vowels as much as possible–it’s so syllables don’t end up sounding short and clipped during a song. so most likely he’s doing “wi’ them” 🤷🏻‍♀️
