I really think it’s hard to say “an 18 year old shouldn’t date a 25 year old” because some people have very different levels of maturity, but I also know some 18 year old who are way more mature than 25 year olds I know. It’s all different from person to person and at 21 I personally wouldn’t date someone under 20 but I think as long as they’re of age and aware of what they’re doing and one the same page then I don’t think there’s a problem.

i mean yeah, i’m not saying that it shouldn’t happen–i know it differs on a case to case basis, but it’s just, the 7 years in between them is a lot, you know? there are experiences someone already had at 25 that an 18 year old wouldn’t have had yet and it’s just…idk. i mean two legal, consenting adults can do what they want, it’s just not something i want to promote or perpetuate because it personally makes me uncomfortable
