re your home friends question: yes, there's a guy who used to live in the same dorm (his room was literally opposite of mine), we still attend the same uni and we're super close friends, but I wouldn't date him because he's too immature and his idea about the future (jobs, career, country, family,...) doesn't align with mine at all so there's no point. there was one point where we talked about fwb but I went abroad right after so we never got to it
