Pull apart the dark by Togina @toli-a is one of my favorite MCU fic ever and I’ve wanted to draw something to illustrate it for a while. It’s so heart-wrenching and beautiful, weaving two narratives, one in a present in which Steve gets de-aged by Hydra and the Winter Soldier starts to find his humanity again by taking care of him, and another through Steve’s memories of his past with Bucky. And the two are linked together in the most beautiful way. Anyway I’m very bad at describing it so go read it if you haven’t already ! ;p
