now i cant stop thinking about a de-aged harry fic where harry and louis are exes and 1d has broken up and they’re all doing their solo things but then one day harry cancels his solo tour and liam texts louis “emergency come to the hospital” and louis comes his heart hammering in his throat (because he’s still a bit in love with harry)
finds harry styles, de-aged into a 2 year old
and harry is crying and wailing because he’s scared but when he sees louis he latches onto him immediately, just clings onto louis’ leg and asks to be carried and louis is like “uh? okay? cool?” and even when louis tries to give him to anne to take care of baby harry until they figure out a cure, harry wails when louis isnt around so louis has to essentially take care of him
and baby harry is so simple in his love; he just loves louis without pressure, without expectation, just wants to be beside louis and looks up at him with these green eyes filled with awe and louis is confused because baby harry shouldn’t??? love me this much????? but he can’t stop taking care of baby harry either, because he just, he loved harry when he was sixteen and he loved harry when he was twenty-four and they were broken up, and he still loves harry even though he’s three years old
and baby harry just reminds louis of how much he loves harry, because as a baby harry has no concept of like. the stress of everyday life, the stress of the spotlight. how all these external factors come into play. baby harry just decided he loved louis and latched on to that, as all stubborn babies do.
and yeah. basically, as they’re searching for a cure, they look through harry’s notebooks, finds little notes about the songs he wrote. two ghosts as it turns out, is about louis and how they’re loved changed but harry still loves louis so much but everything changed and louis is just. :(
but they cure harry and everything works out and when harry is twenty-four again louis decides that his love for harry is stronger than, well, anything life might throw at them so they decide to get back together the end
