people remembering getting ear piercings as traumatic are so dramatic. I’ve had my ears pierced 3 times, one time because the lock when INTO my ear so I let the holes close, the second time I changed the piercing too quickly and they got infected and the third time is what i have now and I’ve had them for years. I have had a second hole that’s not closed up and I’ve had my nose pierced twice lol as someone who hates needles passionately, I can tell you people are just making it worse than it is.

well i dont want to be going around and calling people dramatic because a lot of people have lower pain tolerance and stuff sdkjfhslf but i also agree a with you a little! i dont think its right to be going around calling getting piercings as traumatic when its the same level of pain as a vaccine maybe? sure the purpose is different (one is for health reasons, the other is for….idk) but like in terms of pain i would assume they’re both on the same level and i doubt people would go around saying a vaccine was ‘traumatic’
