aaah the cuddler fic! um, i remember coming across a buzzfeed video (towards like the end of 2016) that said that you could pay people to cuddle you, which i thought was funny and interesting! at first i wanted like a slowburn fic where louis moves to LA and hires harry to cuddle him because he’s lonely and they super slowly, excruciatingly fall in love…..then one day i was bored (when i’m bored i usually make up prompts) and suddenly i just started thinking, like, what if someone was bad at cuddling? and then i immediately thought of like, louis being a pain in the ass and i wrote this prompt
and then rachel @alivingfire added tags to it and it seemed to get even better and better and i cried because i really wanted whoknows to write it because i wanted it to be whoknows’ louis, but then i couldn’t really force someone i didn’t know to write it? so i just decided ‘what the hell’ and tried my best to pattern my louis after whoknows’ (that’s why he’s kind of different there), but i still made sure i wasn’t exactly copying her.
and that’s why the cuddler fic is like that! just mostly the idea of whoknows louis propelled me forward and the idea of someone actually being terrible at cuddling 😅
