i too would cry if wendy (she's part of the blouis exchange and the fics are due soon. i am more than willing to die) messaged me. there is no judgement here. a judgement-free zone. im feeling more inclined to write a fic now if it means acknowledgement from my fave authors! honestly, i have a lot of ideas but zero time or motivation. i've always been a pretty good writer (not evidenced by these asks) but fics are a lot of work. how do u do it?!?

hahahahah well the acknowledgement from your favorite authors isn’t exactly assured, you know? i mean, like that shouldn’t really be the goal, because authors have their own likes and dislikes and what you like might be different from what they like and you might just end up disappointed :( think of it as a nice bonus, you write what you wanted to see and it’s a plus that they acknowledge you!

uh. i’m terrible at time management actually rip sdfjhsf i have terrible motivation too sdjfhksdf but i think like everything else, writing fics just take discipline. you really just have to force yourself to sit yourself down and write! like don’t just write when inspiration hits, because inspiration is flimsy and you’ll never get anything done if you only rely on inspiration and passion. it’s really discipline.
