Please you guys, do check this stuff because the ones I just reported were on Wattpad along with a LOT of Larry fics. Don’t just think that it won’t have happened to you
Google:
wattpad “[fic title]”
wattpad “[ao3 username]”
“[short quote from fic that doesn’t have any character names included]”
Sometimes people use Wattpad to collate recs so you might get innocent results on the first two (click through just to make sure your fic isn’t reposted) but for the last one - if you don’t use a quote you’ve posted in a snippet or summary - the ONLY result should be your fic on ao3.
If you find your fic reposted on Wattpad, register for an account and, on the fic page, you’ll see this on the left hand side:
Click the three dots at the bottom and click report story. You will have to give some personal details, but this is a copyright issue so kind of a big deal. They WILL pull the story, so please please report it.
