You are young & you have your whole life ahead of you and while I get it, i GET ITTTTT, it’s scary to be here & think you’re going to die alone, as soon as you stop actively looking & worrying about it, someone is going to fall into your life. That’s just how the universe works! I was like that, unhappy/overweight/anxious/afraid at 20, then stopped caring and I shit you not a month later I met my husband. Now I’m almost 25 and I look back and wish I’d saved some energy. Again, don’t settle babe!

aww, thank you! a lot of people say that, that it comes when they least expect it hahaha and i’m really not actively looking/worrying about it at the moment (i have two internships i’m juggling, plus i’ve got my bachelor’s thesis next semester YA GIRL IS GRADUATING FINALLY) but it’s just really hard, especially when on facebook my friends are going to like fucking italy with their significant others (1, where’d u get the money and 2, how did u get ur parents to allow u to go to fucking italy togethr) and they’re posting cute things like “thank u for being here for me, happy anniversary” and it’s like wow all my friends are so serious with their boyfriends and then there’s me with little to no experience, and it bothers me and with the way people look at me, it’s like it’s so unheard of that i get scared that maybe i’ll be alone forever

but okay, you’re right, i just have to breathe and not let the pressure and society get to me, and if they don’t like the fact that i’ve never had a romantic relationship before, then i shouldn’t settle. thank u, and i’m so glad you found love and your wonderful husband. 💕
