Honestly, I'm really happy my mom had my ears pierced when I was a baby. If she had them pierced later like when I was a kid or even now, I guarantee I will not be as still as I was because I do so badly with needles. But because I got it when I was a baby, I don't even remember it. I've tried reading arguments but I really couldn't understand? Like what brought this on? Are there adults who are mad that their parents got their ears pierced as a baby?

god, same, i remember i bought earrings with my dad and it came with a free piercing and i was so excited but then i kept thinking about it and i was like “you know what….i dont really want to anymore” like i’m soooo happy i dont remember it!

yeah i read some arguments that piercing a baby’s ears is akin to piercing a dog’s ears, which is animal cruelty….and like by piercing baby’s ears, we are sexualizing our babies at an early age, which, nice to know that ears and earlobes are sexual body parts! one mom compared all the moms who pierced their babies’ ears to adolf hitler, at which point i stopped reading
