I thought that someone might just be taking the piss, but I googled and nope it is being used as a legitimate German word. Wiki page, books, and the lot.
People talk about strange false friends like ‘Bodybag’, but this one here really takes the biscuit.
I have found some examples of English people using this word as well tbh, in which case I’d like to say that I’m equally as disappointed in them.
